I just added a few suggestions that might be considered as well.

The concept of any logo or design does not have to be good according to your own, but must have meaning, and also represent a company that is. In other words, no matter how good your concept, if you do not represent the company will be in vain and will not be chosen by the client. Examples of logo styles are also very important, Choose a contest that suits your style. Every designer has his own style. It will not be maximal if you force your style on contests that are not appropriate. Do not copy logos that are already online. Logo Online is only for reference, use your imagination to make the concept more interesting. Don't give up, keep on practicing and stay in the contest to add experience and sharpen your abilities. Dear Designer , Please read brief carefully , then check client attached design sample style. Research about client business and check similar industry logos in google. Keep your logo simple ,easy to recognized , use 2 color , avoid abstact design, create unique symbol , etc. then your chance will be high to win contest, good luck
